- 1988 Saab 9000 Turbo (Posted 4/27/24)

Color: Edwardian Gray Metallic Trans: Automatic Mileage: 176,253 Price: $6300
Now that the road salt is gone in Ohio, the cover is off and she is back up for sale! The nicest 9000T I've ever seen, by far. Belongs in a collection or museum. ZERO RUST. Paint, plastics leather and lamp lenses are perfect. Amazing condition inside, outside, underhood and underneath for a 1988!! Glossy paint. Interior is perfect. California Family bought her new in '88. Their son inherited it when he was around 50yrs old in 1999. California garage kept, maintained and passed emissions every year. In August 2022 he moved to Indiana and had her shipped there. He passed away in Spring 2023. Per his friend who handled his estate, he loved taking friends out in it, but it only left his garage on nice days. It shows. 176k miles. 35yrs. 5k miles per year. Drives, shifts and runs great. New tires, fresh transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant & t-stat, refreshed brake & power steering fluids. Everything works except AC compressor will not kick on, though it is not locked up. I've owned a lot of Saabs and only my SPG was more Saabish than this 9000T. A really fun unique ride. Turns heads. Deserves to be garage kept, maintained and enjoyed, not daily'd into the ground. Looking for a collection-worthy 9000T? This is it. I have not detailed it yet, hence it is dusty and has the usual 80's engine grime underneath. A good detail would make it Concours level. I would keep it but I already have 3 other Saabs and the Viggen gets the only garage spot. Might consider a trade, as I am looking for a low mile Dame9-5 or NG9-5 for a daily.

Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 33,000 Price: $15,500
Only 33k miles, likely the lowest mileage 9000 in the world, drives like new and even the leather looks and feels like new, many new parts including hitch installed a year ago at UHaul. Selling because bought an SUV and have not driven this one much, just sitting in the garage. Second owner since 2012.

Color: Green Trans: Automatic Mileage: 210,912 Price: $1000
Good: The price! drives great, smogged, good tires, very minimal rust, straight body, new head gasket, water pump, power steering lines, belt, transmission filter and engine mounts (all of them). Very fun to drive. Bad: transmission sometimes doesn't engage reverse immediately. Needs Governor seals (I have them) A washer that is apparently part of the "leakage at the external brake band actuator" (whatever that is!) is broken. When I drive the car, I start in "2nd" and "shift" from there and it shifts great. Holes in the muffler. Needs new rotors. ABS was engaging at slow speeds, couldn't figure it out, so I pulled the fuses. Ugly: interior is in bad shape, front window cracked, rear window doesn't work, front seats torn, crack in dash, back seat has a bad stain, radio doesn't work, AC doesn't blow cold. Power door locks not working. But the car really does drive well and it is a lot of car for $1000.

- 1993 Saab 9000 CDE (Posted 4/4/2024)
SOLD
Color: Citroen Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: 189,000 Price: $550
Original owner - purchased while assigned in Germany. Was going to be retirement project, but too many other things taking my time. Don't want to send to scrap yard, so maybe someone here will be interested. Has been sitting for 10+ years (mostly outdoors under car cover) but ran great until then. Needs gas tank (replaced it once) due to pin hole leaks, and windshield. Other flaws that can be fixed if desired, but could be a great parts car to save another 9000. Wheels are unique: Super Spoke which I don't think were sold in US. Car is not perfect, but body is solid and no rust.

Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 194,000 Price: $3425
MOTIVATED TO SELL. Very nice 1998 CSE automatic that is almost rust free. (I've had eight (8) 9000s over the years.) I am the third owner. The first had it for 2 years, the second for 22 years then I bought it. The interior is beige and is great, no cracks in the dash or tears in the seats. Everything works but the A/C needs a charge. Paint is good, garage stored. The second owner used it as her summer car hence none of the terrible mid-west rust. I bought to use while taking care of my aging father in Wisconsin. He passed so no need for the car as I have a '96 Aero manual. The car is now in Vail, Colorado. I just drove it there, no problems and fun to drive as always. Average mileage was=/-25mpg, depending on head winds.

The vehicle is not running. The car was operated in Hawaii and Texas. It stopped running when a squirrel chewed the plastic fuel line located over the intake manifold. The paint has a cleat coat failure.

The vehicle is not running. It was a California and Texas car. The car stopped running when the fuel pump failed. The paint still looks good although there are some blemishes. The ac does not work. The interior is in good shape except for the passenger seat. I have some extra parts.

SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 206,000 Price: $2500
I am second owner. Car runs and drives with no issues. In last 2 years I've had car repainted due to clear coat peeling, replaced shocks/struts all around, new tires on SPG rims, new catalytic converter, new belts and tensioner, new cabin fan installed, new fuel pump and pre pump. All the electronics work (windows, sun roof, cruise control), AC keeps up if it's under 100 degrees. California car with no rust. - 1996 Saab 9000CS (Posted 1/20/2024)
SOLD
Color: Citron Beige Trans: Automatic Mileage: 172k Price: $3500
Very clean second owner car with all service records back to (and including) original window sticker. $3,500.00 documented repair work done in 2023 by OEM SAAB in Parker, Colorado. New rebuilt transmission at 134k. New tires at 166k. Garage kept under both owners. No front end road debris damage. Clear glass all around. No fluid leaks. No curb rash on 15" wheels. Nice glossy paint. Could use new struts. Front heated seats and rear passenger door locks need repair. Needs some interior bulbs and high beam switch replaced. Wear and tear in drivers seat. One rust spot on rear passenger dog leg. Rear taillight lens cracked. Such a "calm" car to drive with light pressure turbo and automatic transmission. Amazing field of vision with tall glass all around due to no sunroof. Smooth at highway speeds around 65 - 75 mph. Leather still smells great! Can send more pics and visit about the car by phone if that is helpful. This 9000CS (Combi Sport) is my fourth big SAAB. Love it but bought a 9-5 wagon with manual transmission for road trip car to carry bicycles. Local pick up only... thanks.
