A 1976 "99" model, and their current 1983 "900" model. My dad kept very good care of them, but the engine was always very tough to keep running right. At least thoses 2 Sabbs needed constant attention in the engine area. The engine could get "sick" so easily. I guess you have to rely pamper a Saab engine. It becomes your "significant other". So IMHO, I would stay away from that Saab. You probably would have enough trouble with it, with out any of the problems it sems to be showing. Other opinions are welcome of course.
