Subject: Help! - Cold Start - Added Temp Sensor Resistor?

I have a 1986 Saab 9000T that has an incredible cold start death problem. My technician found that these can be eliminated by removing the wire that carries temperature sensor input to the computer. He doesn't want to leave it off because the car will have trouble when it gets warm. I read a few 1991-1992 postings about adding a resistor to the temperature sensing element. He figures it is probably worth a try. Does anyone how much resistance he should add? - Carey Beall beallcnopsammil -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet
