I have an 87 Saab 900 base which I just bought and I noticed a noise that sounded kinda like an airy rattle from what seemed like under the passenger seat..the noise is most prevalent when I put the gas pedal to the floor...I think it has something to do with the exhaust...any help would be great my other question was...is it bad to shift at about 4000 rpm? will this cause extra wear and tear, I think it perofrmes better when I shift like that but is it bad?? also has some body work needed....it has about a $300 dent on the gas tank and a couple of tiny denths front right corner...I also had a guy tell me that the clutch would need replacing soon and said that would run me 300 (although I have noticed notyhing wrong with the clutch..is it bad to run the clutch till it goes?) Do you allthink it would be wise or unwise to have these dents fixed?????? Thanx alot anyone who helps Trent
