It makes a noticable diference in acceleration and fuel economy. The trick is to keep the thing clean. Given you have a 900T the fdrop in filter ought to be just fine as the turbo is going to have a bigger impact on performance that the filter. The Filter will improve responsiveness a bit in the RPM range below that where the turbo kicks in. After the turbo takes over the low max boost means the turbo has plenty of excess capacity. Again the trick is cleaning the filter and air intake. I've seen leaves and such sucked up against the filter element. Doesn't do much for airflow volume. Ben Schapiro
