Baloney. All you have to do is pull one fuse, which is clearly marked as the DRL fuse. Took me ten seconds on my 96 900S. Unless things have changed dramatically for the 97's, which I seriously doubt. : To disconnect daytime lights the dealer must "adjust" the computer : controller using his Saab diagnostic scan tool while completing other : tasks.
