Do you notice the button and display illumination in the radio getting noticeably less bright when the HRW is switched on? Could you better describe the symptoms "lose a lot of signal"? Does the signal fade to noise (like interstation noise when no radio station at all is heard), or does it sound as though there is another, stronger, interfering signal? Do you have a friend with another Saab and similar radio that you could substitute?
