Subject: Re: 2.3 turbo running temperature

Bob! Do like most owners of 900T's, replace the temperature sensor on the radiator that kicks the fan on. On my 86 900T the whaler thermoswitch range was 87 to 95 degrees Celsius, i replaced it with a 82 to 87 degrees Celsius ($10.00). This summer, I was able to sit in traffic with with no problems. Prior to the switch replacement although it never went into the red, it seemed that once the water got past a certain temperature, the fan could cool the water as efficiently thus when in traffic it was always on the high side. At times I ran the AC so both fans would cool the engine Bob Milsom wrote: > I've bought myself a 2.3 turbo (1990 or 91).
