I am considering purchasing a 98 Saab 900 Turbo Coupe. I am sold on the cars looks, handling/derivability and Saabs overall reputation for safety (Wife & three small children). However I have herd some disturbing things regarding reliability and incidence of repair problems for this car. Do you have recent data for the 97 model year. I would like to know in particular about Saab's rotorless ignition system and weather the turbo charging system is reliable in the long run.
