I'm a Saab NewBie, or am planning on it. Anyway, I am looking at buying a 1989 900(no -"s") 3Dr Hatch, Automatic for $4,000. It's got 89,000 Miles on it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about these vehicles. What type of problems am I most likely to have with it. ie - brakes, electrical, engine failure, accessories failure. Stuff like that. I want to make sure I can keep my eye on what is most likely to give me troubles on these cars. I like the Saab 900 design, it just seems like a good car, like they are supposed to be. If anyone can give me any "Tips" for new ownership of an older car (in general or Saab Specific), I would appreciate it. I haven't bought a car in over 10 years and don't know what they've been up to. -- ========================================================= Tom Allison Angel1nopsamide.Net It is clear the future contains opportunities -- it also holds pitfalls.
