For saab turbos you need to follow three basic rules. 1) Always let the car warm up for at least one minute in the morning or when it is cold. 2) ALWAYS let the car cool down ebfore shutting it off, especially for highway driving where you sue the turbo alot 3) Always change the oil every 2500 miles, and use synthetic. I prefer castrol. This will keep the turbo young and healthy. Ross
