I thought paint had pigment in it, and this doesn't appear to have any. It looks "clear". Oh well, hardly worth arguing about. I guess this gets filed under you-learn-something-new-every-day. The bumpers look ok in areas where the "paint" has come off (I may think differently once it's all off, but anything would be an improvement over the way it looks right now), so I'm wondering if there's a low-effort/low-cost way to take the remainder of it off. Maybe I really should just take it to a body shop for repainting, as someone first suggested.... . Rick Markert Katonah, NY
