I just also bought an '86 900 turbo. ALthough I can't answer your alarm questions, as I do not have an alarm myself, the person I bought my SAAb from gave me the original tool to remove the stock Clarion. If you have the stock stereo, there are 2 U shaped tools that go into the sets of holes in either side of the stereo, allowing it to be pulled out. Before you do this, make sure you have the electronic code for the radio, as you will have to enter this code any time the radio is removed or the battery is disconnected, in order for the radio to work again.
