I own a 1980 3-dr 5sp turbo which I bought 4 years ago for $350. Since then, I have rebuilt the entire clutch system, put in new brakes, a new water pump, a new exhaust system, and replaced countless cosmetic parts. I really like the car and believe it has so much character. The problem now is that my clutch is going out again, my fuel pump is on it's last leg, and when I put the car in reverse it pops out with a loud bang. When I went to a local shop, Scandia Autosport, they estimated about $3000 to fix. It has come down to the choices of paying to fix my car up or go with a new car... I'm stuck... Help, please...
