Apparently there was some confusion about my response, so let me clarify it further. Open the driver's door and move the driver's seat back. Kneel outside and look up under the dash board. The panel that covers the underside of the dash is the 'facia' (I misspelled it earlier). It's the black, fuzzy 'cardboard' stuff. Look at the corner (just to the left of the clutch) where the firewall and wheelwell meet. Reach up behind the facia at this spot, and you should find a small, black, two-pin connector. The connector has a green wire jumper between the pins, and a red label that's marked (on my car): SAAB M0015 M0084 9569740 E. TEST 59028B UCAB Pop this connector off, and the shift-up light will stay off. Or, you can cut the green jumper wire and connect a small switch to enable or disable it as you please (which is what I did). Good luck! Fred
