The '95 with a V4 (turbo or non-turbo) is supposed to be better than the '94, but to be truly safe you should try to buy a year or two newer. Whatever you do, make sure you get the car checked out thoroughly by an independent mechanic (CAA has a great program here in Canada where you can go to an authorized garage and have a complete inspection done for only $75, and it is very, very thorough - I knew EXACTLY what I was getting into with my '87 900S before I bought it). Probably best to go to a Saab specialist. Good luck!
