It is just a warning light to tell you to get your car checked (tuneup and that sort of thing). I think every 30k miles they want you to have the O2 sensor checked or some such. To turn it off, if you happne to own an older body style 900 (pre-1994) there is a little reset switch under the dash below and to the left of the steering wheel. Basically stick your hand up there and feel around for a little box with a cable coming out of it going up to the speedo and you should feel a button on it somewhere.
