Greetings, MY friend has a real nice '86 nonturbo SAAB 900 which she like very much. A few of questions: (1) It starts kind of hard in cold weather and doesn't want to keep running until it warms up a little. Sound like a bad cold start valve, or thermal switch? (2) When running rough at very slow rpm (like during cold starts) it has a knocking sound coming from the clutch area. It looks like there's a cover that can be removed for closer inspection? It runs smoothly and quietly at normal rpm's. (3) My son has an older BMW and joined this BMW club which publishes a magazine called Roundel. Is there a similar organization for SAAB enthusiasts?
