Subject: Re: 1983 Saab 900 - How do you adjust idle speed?

I had the same problem on my 85 900 turbo....I couldn't figure it out so I had to take it to my saab mechanic. He clipped a computer to some wires locatd in the Right front quarter panel and adjusted the "Base idle" as he called it. It only took about 30 seconds and he didn't charge me. This procedure also remedies irregular idling( sometimes in the morning) John wrote in message <6efans$bojnopsamsc03.worldnet.att.net>... >Hello, > >Would someone please tell me how to adjust the idle speed on a '83 Saab 900. >Currently, it's set at about 1500rpm's and it doesn't go down after it is >warmed up. > >Thank you. > >Bill >narsecnopsamhi.com > >
