I had an 83 900 T. The exhaust light comes on approximately every 30,000 miles. It is a reminder to check your O2 sensor. You may not have to replace it. The reset button is under the dash on a box attached to your steering column. If you go to www.saabnet.com, there is section FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). Resetting the button is just one of many things you will find the answer to. Since my 83 900 T, I have owned an 87 900s and currently drive an 87 9000S. Happy Saabing.
