Well, I had my test drive on Thursday. And, after driving the car on side streets, over speed bumps, and up and down California freeways for a total of 45 minutes, I was becoming convinced that I would soon be making an offer for this 95 900S. Turns out, the previous owner was nearing the end of a 3-year lease. (He was opting to sell the car himself.) This was a fine explanation for the "low" mileage, i.e., ~10,000 miles per year allowance. After going over just about every inch of the vehicle, and taking a look at the service records ... I made an offer. Now, after a bit of paperwork, I'll be the new owner of a 95 900S.
