Egads! A few years ago I also had a small crack in my (old) 900's windscreen. (Hint: do NOT take your windscreen damaged car to an automatic car wash!) I had it replaced within a few hours by one of these mobile replacement outfits, at a cost of a couple of hundred dollars. (I can't remember the exact amount, but it wasn't close to the figure you've been given.) The replacement windscreen was just as good as the original. The moral: shop around before buying "authorised" or other spares, especially with absurdly priced Saab replacement parts. -- David Wareing dwareingnopsamaide.on.net Macintosh Game Development <www.ambrosiasw.com/~dwareing> Get Mars Rising: <www.marsrising.com>
