Last november I replaced a faulty air flow meter with a used spare part which I purchased for 100 GB pounds in the U.K. It worked fine but unfortunately the replacement part is now damaged. Could sometthing be damaging this part or is this mere coincidence? Equally I was quoted at 400 pounds in the UK and 500 pounds here in Portugal for a new replacement. This is far beyond what I can afford. Hopefully someone out there can suggest an alternative for a cheaper spare. The pare part has the following inscribed on the electronic module embedded in it namely: BOSCH 0 280 212 005. My Saab is a 1987 - 9000 Turbo 16v model (5CK SAM5-03) The chassis number is YS3CD55L6H1022973 The engine number is HD79842
