Have you changed the ATF? And at least check the level of the final drive, though that shouldn't cause the problem. Sounds like you might have some seals hard internally. If you've changed the fluid, try doing it again. And you might try a can of BG Auto Transmission Fluid Treatment. This is designed to soften the seals, and might help. Dick in Falls Church, VA
