Well guys, I love my Saabs but for the second time my driver's window has shattered on my 89 turbo conv. First time the window was half-way up and shattered when I closed the door (I don't slam the doors). Happened again yesterday right after I picked up the car from its 75,000-mile Big Service. Window was totally up, I was sitting in the driveway stopped, waiting for the garage door to open when - BLAM! - the entire window shattered in place, a gorgeous mosaic of evenly-sized chips held briefly in place before starting to collapse. Just lucky that both occurred in the driveway in close proximity to the shop-vac. The latest blowout SEEMED to originate in the area of the doorlock but can't be sure. Anyone aware of some chronic problem like this? Are there runaway hardpoints somewhere in the windowtrack? TIA, Kim in Bennington, Vermont
