>> Mike, You could try rotating the tires to see if its a problem with a weird tire wear pattern. with the rear tires now on the front the car might handle differently. this would prove trhat the front tire treads were wearing strange. Not to question the dealer. but many times when cars are brought in for an "alignment" they only check the tire position for the "pulling". (the left/right alignment of the tires) A good repair shop will check the alignment for both left/right , Top/bottom , vertical alignment (easy terms) there are 8 adjustments to correctly allign any 1 tire.. and 1 faulty adjustment on 1 tire could cause the pulling colin<< Thanks for your reply. I will try your suggestion and rotate the back tires to the front and visa versa this weekend and see if that helps. I'm not too familiar with my new SAAB dealer here in AZ (i.e. can I trust him), but I was very comfortable with my original dealer (Keenan SAAB) back in Michigan. I know that they sent the card out for an alignment on my second visit (they did what you suggested on my first visit, check for toe-in or something like that). However, I'm not sure whether the car got an alignment as thorough as you suggest.
