If it turns out to be a motor or an ECU, I have the ones I removed from my '88... but what I'd recommend if it turns out to be a serious problem is retrofitting manual belts. It takes about an hour and $200 in parts (used) to do it, and the old-style manual belts all drop right in... -Justin
