Assuming that the convertible and the sedan are similar with respect to the CD changer: I bought the installation kit from Saab parts and installation was a breeze. The kit is high quality fairly heavy gauge steel, fits the changer perfectly, and protects it from stuff sliding around in the trunk. The cable was actually behind the left rear felt panel in the trunk and just took a few minutes of pulling fasteners off to find it. BTW, the clarion unit is pretty decent and rarely skips ...
