I hope you used a thermostat designed for the Saab. The 900 uses a special 2 stage thermostat and replacing it with an ordinary single stage unit can cause problems. These are avaialabe aftermarket as well as through Saab. I believe that Stant makes one. It looks diferent from other thermostats. Other than that, how old is your coolant and is it at the right concentration? Have you changed it regularly? If not, you may have radiator problems. Also is anything blocking the radiator such as driving lights or a hood cover? A.E.
