John, If you bought that 82 900T new, you have had it for 16 years. A total of 149,000 miles is less than 10,000 miles a year. These people are talking about 12,000 miles or 20,000km between oil and filter changes. I had an 83 900T. It went to salvage after being totalled in August 95, with over 251,000 miles, and mine did not use any oil. I used Castrol GTX 10-30w in the engine and transmission and Militec-1. My current 87 9000S has 151,778 miles. I bought it used with 145,890. It uses no oil. Ken Washington 87 9000S
