Subject: Re: Airconditioning

I have a 9000S. I had an air conditioning problem too. I'm sure air conditioning systems are pretty universal. But, I guess the first thing you might want to check is to see if the compressor is running. Turn on the engine and set the temperature to the lowest setting. When you pop the hood, you should hear the engine "click" every now and then. Or, if you know where the generator is, you should watch it and see if something engages and disengages (that's the compressor clicking on and off). If you're compressor is running, it may be a problem with the cold air recirculating with the heated air. I heard there might be some sort of vent that regulates that. If the compressor is not working, it is either one of two things. 1) The compressor just died...an expensive proble. 2) There is a faulty electrical connection...which was my case. 3) Or if there isn't enough gas, the compressor won't engage. That's a simple problem. Just get it recharged at a local garage. Hope that helped somewhat.
