A couple of weeks ago I bought a 1988 Saab 900 with 5 speed manual. Car has 102,000 miles on the odo. It runs well, looks good, and the transmission shifts beautifully, except for 5th gear. I had no problem for the first 500 miles that I drove it, but now I cannot engage 5th. I suppose that this could be due to a problem with shifter adjustment. Is the shift movement adjustable on this car? If so, would someone please explain the procedure to me? Thanks
