Subject: Re: Any experience on Lowering Saab 900's

Go to http://www.group-6.com for some excellent gear to lower and or sport tune your Saab 900. I've got a stock '87 900S 16v, but a friend with a turbo spent the cash (lots of it) to use their enhancements, and he took his engine from 150 Hp to an estimated 300! I'm not kidding, and I don't work for these people. All I know is that his 88 900S turbo feels like a supercharged V8 now, and it screams (literally) when he downshifts. We timed the 0-60 with both of us in the car at around 5.2 seconds. He used the 1" lowering kit too, with the high-end Bilstein shocks. I'm more of a purist, the smaller wheels sound a bit tacky to me, I'd go with larger wheels and low-profile tires (Michelin T/A) to get a performance boost. Good luck!
