Subject: Installing A/C in Saab 900 LPT (1992)



I need some advice aboutt fitting air conditioning to my 900 Aero LPT. I've
been quoted prices of around £1000 (GBP) from various Saab dealers, but this
is very much outside my budget (spent all my money on actaully buying the
car!!).

What i'd like to know is, is there any alternatives open to me. i.e. buying
a 2nd hand  a/c unit, how much will it cost ?? is it a very specialised job,
could i get this done in any garage (not an expensive Saab dealer).
