Well my sampling isn't large but my 95 900 was near-perfectly built. The only flaw I could find when I picked it up was a mis-moulded seat belt stalk, which was promptly replaced. And it turned out there was a piece of door trim not punched out covering one woofer in the door causing a rattle. They were the only two flaws that could have been picked up on the assembly line. The panel fit and finish and paint on it was and is beautiful. Certainly at least of the quality of other Euro imports and WELL beyond my beloved classic 900T. >If I were you, I would drive this nightmare of yours through the >showroom window, and demand a full refund. SAAB used to be a synonym >for quality, lasting for years on end (one had to shoot it, to get rid >of it). This is why we bought the car, because the old one lasted so well and always seemed "new". The current car seems to be living up to that. Sure, it has had some problems, mostly interior trim and brakes but it seems to be holding up well overall. It has the infamous V6 engine which sees 6,000 RPM or so every day. This guy obviously got what we call a "lemon" and should return it under his state's lemon law for a pro-rated refund. Glenn
