I don't know what your owner's manual recommends, but keep in mind that the recommended drain interval is based on European oil specs, which are considerably more stringent that the US requirements. If I were using non-synthetic, I'd drain at 3,000 miles/3 months. With almost any of the synthetics, you can go the maximum recommended drain interval. I use AMSOIL, and found that I could change filter at 5,000, oil and filters at 10,000 and the oil was still good. My second choice would be Mobil 1, probably for about 7500 miles Dick in Falls Church, VA 85 900T 178,000 miles Using and selling AMSOIL (First in Synthetics) over 21 years
