Subject: '95 900SET reverse gear




I've started popping out of reverse a lot.  I then have to put it
in first, and then back in reverse.  If I put it directly back in
reverse, it grinds horribly.

Is this is the result of stress from having it in reverse gear while
parked?  I usually set the emergency brake, but its not holding quite
as well as it used to, so the car sometimes rolls a bit before it
grabs.

How long is it going to last before it completely fails?
