In all of the Saabs I've met with the Clarion sound system (and that's quite a few, both 900 and 9000 models), not *one* has the front-to-rear speaker phasing wired properly. Left-to-right in the front and rear are fine; it's just the front-to-rear. For more details and plot of the frequency response differences, see Audio, June '94, for an article I wrote. I was all set to meet with the Clarion factory engineer (in New Jersey), but when Saab switched away from Clarion, they obviously lost interest.
