Our '90 9000 (130,000 miles on the engine) intermittently acts like it's running on 2 cylinders. It sputters and has little power. You can floor it in 1st gear and only do 5 mph. When this isn't acting up, it runs beautifully. We have replaced one injector, done a full tune-up, replaced spark plugs(3 times), replaced fuel pump and associateds. The wiring harness was replaced about three years ago. Most of the time the problem is present immediately after start-up. It seems to be a problem when driving in the city/low speeds/stop-and-go. Highway driving is no problem. You can be driving along with it sputtering, and there will be a surge or a thump, and then it's running fine again. Two different mechanics are out of ideas. Anybody else had this problem? -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum
