Get the turbo! 2. Avoid the automatic-- expensive to replace. Of course, you may find on with a recently replaced auto that's worth considering. 3. Options...well, they seem fairly standard. I do not think the heated seats are that great. I can't think of any specific option that you should look for. 4. In general, avoid the 86-- for the turbo and other reasons... some parts incompatability with other 9000's. Not that they are bad. (Read: that's what mine is) 5. I would check for normal stuff like CV joints, tranny problems, A/C -- these would be rather expensive repairs. As far as specific 9000 things, pay attention to the heater core and blower motor, motor mounts, AIC that Justin mentioned, hydraulic clutch system ( clutch pedal, master cylinder, hose), shifter mechanism.... Also, be aware that the headlight lenses are pretty expensive to replace. Check out The Saab Network classifieds and Classifieds 2000 for leads... Good luck!
