Subject: Re: Synth. oil

Hi Dima I have a '97 SE Turbo and since it had 5.000 MI on the Odo I have used Mobil 1 Synthetic. (10W30). My mechanic says that the synthetic will just be all the better protection especially for a turbo (I drive hard but still allow the car time to idle down before shut-down). I have always changed the oil at 5,000 to 5,500 miles. I'm sure you can stretch the time interval but I want this car to last a long long time... I get more peace of mind I think but it is still cheap insurance. I would do it in a minute.
