There is a phenomena I've noticed in American films; Saab cars seems to be a favourite attribute in films to signal a mixture of: welth, esthetic concern, intellect, sportyness and independence. To support this theory, please fill in more examples, this is just a few I could think of: (Also, does anyone know if Saab has to pay for these displays?) - 'Throw Momma from the train' (Billy Crystal/Danny DeVito), crashes Saab 92? (exception; just an odd car here) - 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' (Chevy Chase) snobbish neighbours of the Griswolds had a Saab 9000 - 'Scenes from a Mall' (Bette Midler och Woody Allen had one 9000 each!) - 'Final Analysis' (Richard Gere/Uma Thurman), psychiatrist driving a 900 convertible - 'Grosse Point Blanke' Hit man drives 900 convertible - 'As Good As It Gets', Jack Nicholson drives 900 Convertible
