Justin, That is a bullshit settlement. The bottle of Slick 50 I bought in 1993 cost me $17.00. The resulting damage cost me over $2200. Slick 50 has a checkered past that goes back to the mid-80s. When I was stationed in Mississippi from 1984 - 1985, several people who tried the product had problems. In 1986, I found out why. The man who invented the original formula lost control. The product was sold under several different names. Slick 50 was a name on the automotive side and Matrix was a name used on the industrial side. I know this because one of the guys I bowled with was a Matrix distributor and filled me in on the products history. I won't go into anymore detail here. The maker's of Slick 50 are getting theirs.
