Hello, According to my Saab shop the timing chain and oil pump on a bunch of 900-2.1's are likely to fail and should be replaced as a precaution. Does anybody know about this? They offer to replace the chain but not the sprockets. Is it better/worth it for a car with 100K miles to also have them replace the sprockets? It doubles the price from USD 350 to USD 800 because they have to take the engine out. Any experiences? Best regards, Rene Debets
