i feel sorry for saab. when they produced distinctively styled cars, the mainstream press massacred them. saabs were too "quirky" and so they lost points. now saab produces a car like the 9-5 which has a very mainstream design, only to have R&T lament the loss of previously "distinctive" styling and again they lose points. it seems R&T can't decide how it feels about saab virtues. in one breath it praises the 9-5's engine, handling, agility and cargo space while at the same time ranking it below a chrysler? what gives??? david
