This is interesting, and repeats the developement of a similar setup for home airconditioners. May I point out the long-term problems found there: Any contaminants in the water will, over time, become a HUGE problem. I live in Chicago, with extremely hard water, and I guarantee the intercooler will have no more openings in just a few summers. (I think two, but who knows.) The additives (anti-freeze in the winter) will compound this problem. There's a powerful electrolytic action you're making here, both on the Intercooler and the engine-bay as a whole. I cannot for the life of me remember what the SAAB intercooler's made of, but if the fins and the channelling are not the same metal, you're making a "battery." Otherwise, and mine are truly minor and inconsequential complaints, it is a darned cool idea. Wish I had a turbo...
