Subject: replacement sunroof drain line

Hi to all of you fellow SAAB enthusists - can anyone help me out with a little problem I have with a blocked sunroof drain line? The car is a '88 9000 hatch, right hand drive, for the UK As I said, the line is really blocked and using a long flexible wire the blockage was obviously two thirds down the widscreen door pillar on the right hand side. So, out came the head liner (due for a change in any case and which was getting wet when it rained). There is an inspection hole in the widscreen pillar and I could see sticky tape wrapped around the drain hose (a previous repair I guess?) 1. The question is, how do I get the old drain line out? (tugging it has no effect-it's well and truly lodged) 2. Where is the bottom end? (putting water down the other side's drain line indicates the outlet is somewhere just behind the front mud flap) 3. How do I run a new drain line? Many thanks in anticipation of an answer, Alan amorgannopsamndus.co.uk
