There is nothing inherently EVIL about it, but it does have its fair share of issues, and 30k timing belt replacements will be costly. It was only available for a short time, meaning parts will likely be expensive and probably in the not-so-far-future hard to get. You're better off with the 2.3l NA 4 or the 2.0l turbo 4 in terms of reliability and future resale. -Justin
