Sam,

Make sure your plug wires are okay. If they are not leaking any spark
due to corrosion or cracks, then try a resistor spark plug...Speaking of
wires, what type of plug wires are you using? I went from stock wires to
a set of Jacobs on my 87 900S, but that did not cause radio
interference.
