Since it is November, most gas stations in the North East and Mid Atlantic have started using oxygenated fuel to cut down on winter emissions...I have an 87 9000S...What plugs are you running and what gap are you using...Try a can of Berryman B-12 Chemtool in your gas tank...Your mileage may increase a tad, but more impportantly it will take care of moisture in your fuel system clean you system and injectors...I just replaced my fuel filter last weekend...It was not hard, but make sure you get new washers to replace the old ones....
